Started in early 2023, 1delta is working on making DeFi more accessible and bringing crypto trading on-chain, enabling users to easily trade from their wallet and benefit from more advanced DeFi strategies delivered as retail-friendly products.

1delta now offers users the ability to do DeFi-native margin trading, using the most liquid decentralized lenders, such as Aave, and exchanges like Uniswap.

You will be working with the best. The 1delta team and founders have won prizes in several big hackathons, including ETH Lisbon, ETH Denver, and ETH Global. 1delta is supported by top-tier projects like Aave, Compound, Polygon, Fuel, and Mantle.

Role

We are seeking a Web3 Developer to be one of the early members of our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with operating smart contracts and on-chain data gathering. You will be able to work across multiple blockchain architectures like EVMs, Fuel and more.

Over time, you are expected to build significant DeFi expertise and learn the ins and outs of decentralized lending protocols and decentralized exchanges of all sorts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement intuitive user interfaces for our Web3 trading platform.
• Conduct user research to understand the needs, pain points, and goals of our diverse user base
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma to visualize and iterate on ideas.
• Lead usability testing sessions to validate designs and gather actionable insights.
• Design user journeys and flows that simplify complex trading processes for a global audience.
• Stay informed about Web3 trends, trading ecosystems, and emerging technologies to drive design innovation.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects, especially for Web3 or trading platforms.
• Skills: Proficiency in Figma and other design tools, with expertise in prototyping, user flows, and responsive design principles.
• Research-Oriented: Strong background in UX research, including usability testing, persona development, and user interviews.
• Interest in Web3: A genuine curiosity or experience in blockchain, cryptocurrencies, or decentralized technologies.
• Problem-Solver: Ability to distill complex concepts into user-friendly interfaces.
